What Skip Size do I need?
We offer a range of skip sizes from 8 cubic yards to 16 cubic yards. The skip size guide will give you an idea of what's best for you.
So they can be safely transported, all skips must be level loaded and larger skips (over 8 yards) must not contain heavy materials. If you need advice please call our sales team on 020 7474 3535 who will be more than happy to help.

Simply choose the skip you require using our skip size guide, then call us on 020 747 3535 and speak to one of our friendly sales team.
Do I need a permit?
Permits are required by most local councils for skips that need to be placed on a public highway or road.
Permits can be arranged for a maximum of 28 days. In most cases we will be able to arrange a permit for you. A few councils require that the hirer must apply for the permit, we will advise you during the booking process if you are required to arrange the permit. Some councils can take up to 4 working days to grant a skip license, so please take that into consideration when ordering a skip to be placed on the road.
What can't I put in a skip?
There are materials that we are unable to take away in a skip. These include: fridges, TVs, computers, computer monitors), gas bottles, chemicals and solvents, batteries, clinical waste (such as syringes, soiled dressings, medicine bottles), liquids (such as oil), plasterboard, tyres and asbestos.
What can I put in the skip?
Skips are for general waste, inert waste, wood, metal and builders waste. Due to weight restrictions, heavy waste can not be placed in the larger skips (12 yards and over). Read our size guide for more information.
If you're unsure that your waste is suitable, give us a call. We also offer a range of hazardous / specialist waste disposal services, including asbestos.
How full can I fill the skip?
The skip should be filled no higher than the height of the sides and should be level loaded in order for us to be able to transport the skip safely to our Recycling Facility.
